Using your banded comb flat against the body over taught skin, always following the natural lay of the hair - using chalk also aids grip. The pins should not contact the skin, by keeping the comb flat guiding it through the coat in long strokes over the entire body and all other areas to be striped areas. You should feel it drag slightly as the bands pull through and collect the hair.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Re-banding is rarely needed but is recommended every 6 months. Be careful when removing trapped hair not to pull the bands out, you do not need to remove every last hair from the comb for it to work effectively.
